MARDOCHÉE WILLIAM

Haiti Lead Site Supervisor  |  Dipl Eng

Mardochée joined EVA Studio in 2017 as a site supervisor for the construction of three public places in Canaan, Haiti, a project that is part of the CUCD program, financed by the USAID and American Red Cross and implemented by Global Communities.

Mardochée studied Civil Engineering at Université Lumière in Port-au-Prince. He had previously worked as a site supervisor for FICASS, the contractor that implemented Place Tapis Rouge, a public space in Carrefour-Feuilles, Haiti, built under program LAMIKA, where he had the opportunity to meet EVA Studio team.

According to him, working at EVA Studio is a great opportunity to both develop his skills as an engineer, and as a supervisor in the challenging context of Southern Haiti, whilst managing simultaneously different construction sites.

Today Mardohée continues working with EVA Studio as the lead site supervisor for the construction of three community centres implemented by FOKAL and funded by OSF. The centres are located in rural villages in the Haiti southern department, aim to support communities that have been heavily affetcted by the 7.2 magnitude earthquake in 2021.
