MARDOCHÉE WILLIAM

Haiti Lead Site Supervisor  |  Dipl Eng

Mardochée graduated in Civil Engineering from Université Lumière in Port-au-Prince. He previously worked as a site supervisor for FICASS, the contractor that implemented Place Tapis Rouge, a public space in Carrefour-Feuilles, Haiti, built under the LAMIKA program. It was there that he first met the EVA Studio team.

Mardochée joined EVA Studio in 2017 as a site supervisor for the construction of three public spaces in Canaan, Haiti, a project that was part of the CUCD program, financed by USAID and the American Red Cross, and implemented by Global Communities.

Today, Mardochée continues to work with EVA Studio as lead site supervisor for the construction of three community centres funded by FOKAL. The centres, located in rural villages in Haiti’s Southern Department, aim to support communities that were heavily affected by the 7.2-magnitude earthquake in 2021.

According to him, working with EVA Studio is a valuable opportunity to further develop his skills as both an engineer and a site supervisor within the challenging context of Southern Haiti, while managing multiple and very complex construction sites simultaneously.
