Andrea Panizzo has 10 years of professional experience, 4 years as the principle of his design firm before teaming up with Jeannie to incorporate EVA in 2014. He entered the Haitian public sector design space in 2011 working with such organisations as Global Communities, Finn Church Aid + IDB, UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief) and Save the Children (formerly Merlin UK). He is well versed in designing for and navigating the, sometimes complicated, administrative processes of non-profit and non-governmental organisations in the Caribbean and South America. He has expensive experience in running humanitarian projects with a concentration on community based participatory design. He has also worked in the UK and Italy for Bennetts Associates and Fukas Studio.
